New management has put a lot of money into renovating the 24K club. The bar is clean and well laid out with a couple of big screens showing the requisite football game. Unfortunately the rest of the bar doesn't live up to the surroundings.

I went to the club for the first time in many years a few weeks ago. It's a little out of the way, tucked behind a small shopping center. The doorman insisted on frisking me. Maybe he was attracted to me and this was just an excuse to cop a feel, but I doubt it.

The dancers were few and far between. There were probably fewer than a half dozen girls and the stage was empty more often than not. One girl was obviously injured and hobbled around as if she needed crutches. The most attractive woman in the place by far was the bartender.
