Was looking for a good club...

Was looking for a good club within a reasonable distance of Chicago, and this one came recommended by this board, so I decided to give it a shot. Overall, it was just okay.

The club itself is a large freestanding building which is pretty nice. It's located behind a derelict-looking building and does not feel particularly safe, especially once it gets dark. Inside, the club is very spacious, and the facilites are very nice. . . in the way that most things look nice in the dark. Still, I'd have to give them props for upkeep. The personnel who work there are a little grouchy, probably in the bottom half of clubs I've been to in terms of attitude, friendliness, and helpfulness. The waitresses are also a pretty unhappy bunch and are pretty aggressive about hawking drinks, which is always annoying.

When I visited, on a weekday afternoon, there were only a handful of dancers, maybe 6 or 7. Two were attractive and the other four were only okay. Dances were relatively expensive, starting at $20 for one song, with much higher rates for a 'special' more private room, and of course exorbitant fees for visiting the 'champagne room'. I got a dance in the back from one of the attractive ones, who was from Eastern Europe. I paid for a nude dance, but she basically refused to take off her panties, and she didn't really allow any touching. Overall, not a good value. I thought about trying the other one, but at that point I was just getting annoyed. The stage show wasn't great either, with only half of the dancers actually putting in some effort onstage.
