Just took my first trip to the Spearmint Rhino. My only prior SC experience in DFW was a couple of trips to The Lodge, so that's really my basis for comparison.

Arrived at the Rhino just before 7 on a Saturday evening and paid a $3 cover (website says no cover before 7, but there was a feature dancer and a UFC fight, so the $3 didn't seem too bad). My first impression was that the club was small and somewhat dead. There were a couple of girls circulating, but nothing to write home about. I wasn't sure how long I'd actually be hanging around.

Not long after getting a drink ($6 for a bottle of Shiner, which they actually consider "domestic") and finding a seat, a very friendly brunette sat down on my knee. I don't want to be cruel, but I suspect she was either quite drunk, quite high, or suffering from the zombie flu. While she was trying real hard to keep up a bit of conversation, she just didn't seem to be all there. A song came on that she liked and I agreed to get a dance, so off we went to the lap dance area.
