WARNING: DRINK SCAM PRACTICED HERE!
What do I mean? The dancer's drink, if you buy her one, is more expensive than yours. On this day it ranged from $12-$20, while your beer would cost $1.50 or $2. I know, this is a normal practice at some clubs, but at others in different regions of the country this is unheard of. Thereby one should know about it in advance so you're dollars are wisely spent.
Shortly after my arrival (and paying a $5 or $7 cover, I forget which), a dancer joined me as I watched the end of the Arkansas-vs.-Florida game. Two minutes later the bartender came 'round and wanted to know whether I wanted to "buy the lady a drink?" Well, saying I'd never been here before, I inquired how much it would be. She told me and then I politely said no, prefering to spend my dough on numero uno, mwa. So the bartender gives me a dirty look and then walks away. I guess she's implying if a gal joins a guy or guys, it's understood you're to be buying her a drink. It was the bartender's disgruntled look which made me think I'd be sure to mention it upon writing this review.
