By total coincidence I walked into Lansing DJV just as the Showgirl of the Year finals were beginning. Quite a production! Multi-character skits with lots of props and full sound tracks. The dancing almost got lost in the shuffle. The competition also made for a lot of dead time over several hours, compared to a regular night. But for a one-time experience, it was fun. Lansing DJV continues to be one of the best clubs anywhere for VIP rooms. $100 to $150 for a half hour, depending on the night. Lots of privacy. Very comfortable. No hassle from floor guys. Cameras supposedly there but dancers didn't seem too concerned. Heidi is especially outstanding, but there are many girls here worth spending some time with. Tuesday is probably the best night to be there, followed by Thursday. Just one negative: they've recently installed some electronic bill readers in both the regular Couch Dance area and VIP. Very annoying when the dancer stops performing to put another $20 in the machine. It ruins the fantasy in your mind. In VIP, they aren't as big an issue because they can actually enhance the privacy--no interruptions to extend your time.
