Interesting note for those of you...

Interesting note for those of you following the ATL club scene: Tattletale's got "raided" last night. I say "raided" because not much of anything happened. A bunch of cops supposedly showed up but all they did was check for dancers having permits. Once the staff showed that everyone was legit the cops supposedly left. Whole thing supposedly took about 5-10 minutes, no arrests, no problems, nothing. I wasn't there when it happened, but came in about an hour afterward and got the scoop from one of the dancers. What's interesting about all this is it's so close in time to the much-publicized 24K Club raid(just right up the street) for drugs and prostitution last week(see ajc.com for new article today), as well as another TUSCL'er reporting a raid at another ATL club recently. Now this "raid" at Tattletales was certainly nothing like the 24K Club because the 24K Club was supposedly the cumulation of 5 months of investigation, undercover work, etc. But all this does make you wonder if there is some sort of city-wide targeting of strip clubs.

The visit itself to the club was great, as usual. Several hot dancers, attitudes are always great, no ROB factor at all. You would have never known the cops had just been there earlier, but I guess that's because everything supposedly went so smoothly when they showed up.
