I visited Dolls yesterday and was less than impressed. The atmosphere was nice for a low key Wednesday evening. The club is located on a quite street in Tribeca but it didn't feel shady at all. You enter into a bar area where there is a small stage with a dancer. You'll need to buy a drink before going to the back (where the main strip club is) and there is a cover of $10.

When you get to the back room, you immediately feel how small it is. Honestly, once more than 5-10 guys are there, the place has a cramped, crowded feel. The girls are actually pretty good-looking. A couple were hot, most were average looking but with huge...assets, and a couple were less than attractive. Almost all of the dancers were pretty down to earth and fine to talk to. Most were foreign, which made conversations a bit difficult but not unbearable. The dancers themselves were not too pushy, but there was one bartender who was completely over the top. Every time a dancer sat next to me, she started demanding that I buy the dancer a drink. Other than the one annoying bartender, my interactions with the people working at the club were pretty good.
