Playhouse has benefitted from the the closing of Covergirls in Valley Brook. Some of the ladies from there went back to Playhouse - particularly Diabla. Also, Truble is back at Playhouse. These two ladies have added a hint of mischief to the day shift. Playhouse also still serves a freshly prepared lunch and while somewhat pricey the food is usually of good quality. The bar is still liquor and beer so a customer can relax with his favorite libation. The dancers on this Thursday afternoon were friendly and didn't seem to mind "ganging up" on the few customers who were there. None of them were pushy or demanding and management gave the DJ time to play break songs so the customers who bought dances could enjoy their favorite entertainer a bit longer than the usual 3 minute stage songs. The only real complaint is the lap dance area. It has not changed over the years. It is still in a slightly lowered area between the small stage by the stairs to the dressing room and the DJ booth. Privacy is not a hot commodity and yet some of the entertainers don't seem to mind. Playhouse is an aging club and I believe the owner should remodel since there are newer clubs opening soon in parts of OKC.
