In general, the Red Room is one of the nicer spots on The Block. Just past the PussyCat Club, but the door could be a little hard to spot for first-time visitors. Once in, proceed downstairs to access the typical Block club layout. Things seem clean enough. And lighting is ample, which is an good indicator as to the quality of the dancers / clientele. One girl on stage while 5 or so sit or hit you up for a drink. Daytime bartender Rob is friendly, and bouncers are not menancing. Drinks are $10 for you, $25 should you buy one for the lady. Based on quality of girls and comfortable setting, I will return.

On this particular day, and in general, the dancers were much more attractive than the 2 clubs to the left and right (but not Hustler). Mostly caucasian, but also latino and african-american dancers. Didn't see Asian dancers on this particular visit. Also, they were friendlier, less aggressive about drinks & tips, and could hold coherent, often entertaining conversations. Lap dances and private dance areas are available, and prices are negotiable during dayshift. My fave was a young 20 something with long, curly brunette hair, nice tight belly and beautiful skin. Oh, by the way, she's a very good dancer also. The girls seemed to get along fine, with no discernable cliquish behavior. Probably a pretty good sign if you seek a relaxed, laid back setting.
