Returned to "Gold Club After Dark"...
Returned to "Gold Club After Dark" as it is now known. Structure is the same: 1 main stage and 1 unused satellite stage and fair number of chairs. Minimal lighting away from the stage. $10 dollar cover charge and 2 drink minimum kill the value rating; $5 Coke and still seeking tips is crazy for a juice bar on top of the cover. The women are consistently stunning, and they know it. Some manage to hide the attitude, most others don't even try. Seems to skew too heavily to the 20 - 24 yo. Is it so hard to find a mature dancer or even one who can carry on a conversation before treating you like an ATM? The LDs have improved in the past year, a few are even worth the $35. The "promos" are hourly and a good chance to audition prospective dancers before taking the plunge. I cannot comment on the VIP/Champagne rooms since it is above my pay grade, but there appeared to be enough action there. Overall high marks for nice physical layout, and being open late, but major low grade for excessive expense and intrusive staff. Even split on the dancers; all are beautiful, not all are friendly, some are just too young. But then I am an old man!
