(This is a delayed review from...

(This is a delayed review from mid-August 2009.) Got up to this area about 12:30 on a Sunday night. I thought I might switch up and go to the Gold Club, just down the street from the Players Club (nee Wagon Wheel), but the dancers were either permanently occupied, or seemed too tired to be interested in giving anyone a dance. So, I split and went around the corner to the Wagon Wheel, which wasn't exactly hopping at this hour, but at least I was able to find a girl and get a few dances under my belt before closing time.

The house music was loud as ever, and the DJ seemed to be a bit more vocal than usual, really pumping up the dancers as they came on stage -- I liked the extra energy he had. The dancers seemed a little slower than usual -- they were tired too, I guess -- except for one thinner, more athletic girl who was still into doing her acrobatic pole-climing even at this ungodly hour.

I sat at the stage for a while, hoping to catch the eye of one of the girls as they came offstage. Several passed me by, even though I'd tipped them well during their stage dance. Dunno -- again, maybe just tired. I can't say I blamed them. Still, eventually one gal convinced me to come with her and gave a single unenthusiastic dance over in the private section. I went back to the tables for a while, and chilled until an energetic gal came over in a bikini and some nice natural C-cups just as they were calling for last dances, and I got a couple of amazing grinds from her (better, perhaps, even for her than for me, unless she was faking, which if she was, she's a hell of an actress). Made my way out just as they were turning on the overhead fluorescents at 2:00am, which is a sight I never hope to repeat, but that last grind sure as hell was worth it.
