(This is a delayed review from mid-August 2009.) Thought I'd try coming back here, as it had been at least a year since my visit, and I thought maybe I'd switch up from my usual haunt of the Player's Club (Wagon Wheel) which is just down the street. When I arrived maybe 12:30am on a Sunday, I didn't expect much, but I didn't expect it to look completely dead either. There was no one outside (usually when I drive by, there's at least a couple of guys outside chatting or walking around), and it might have been my imagination, but the light in the parking lot seemed dimmer than usual. Maybe my eyes were just playing tricks on me.
I parked in the lot (which was maybe half full) and wandered in. It didn't look any different than I recalled -- large open space and plenty of seating. The club wasn't very full, but wasn't as dead as it looked outside. The music was blasting, and one (the main) stage was operating, but I didn't see hardly any girls in the room; just a couple who looked like they were glued to a few guys' laps.
I walked the room, looking for a good place to park, and kept my eye out for wandering girls. I spied one, heading toward the back room, and made to talk to her as she passed, but she ignored me. Another one did the same a few minutes later; and by the time a third girl gave me the brush-off, I decided it was time to leave. Very low girls-to-guys ratio, as maybe I should have expected after midnight on a Sunday, but geez, you've got almost an hour left, girls -- don't you care to earn another couple of dances to a guy who obviously wants one? I guess they were all too tired.
