First time to NOLA, thought this...

First time to NOLA, thought this would be a straightforward, high-yield, quality choice. Went with a group of friends, including one lady friend. Yes, it was a Sunday afternoon, but I was surprised to see only 1-3 dancers around. Half of the crowd was focused instead on the Saints game. The dancing was average, even a little subpar, not much excitement, sadly. No one approached me, or us for that matter. As I'm finding is typical, when we sat at the stage, the dancer was mostly interested in talking to our lady friend, which meant less dancing for the rest of us. Would be willing to try it out at a different time, but would just as well try a different club instead.
