Well, this is my 1st review. Feel free to give me any tips you think I may need to improve on how I write reviews (more information in one area or another).

It was a Saturday night, me and a couple of buddies had been at a Chicago South Suburban restaurant watching college football and decided to go to a strip club. Our location was not to far from the Illinois/Indiana border and 1 of my friends suggested Industrial Strip in Hammond. I was very excited about this because I had read about IS club on Tusci. So I must admit I had high expectations going into this.

I had never been to the club before but it was on a main street and did not seem to hard to find. We arrived a little after midnight. It had a sign that stated "You Are Here" or "This Is It", I forget which. And then a smaller sigh that says "Industrial Strip" We walked into the front door and paid $16 at the desk. This was a little more then we expected but it was okay. I know from reading this site that they have price reduction coupons on line. My first surprise was the size of the club. Its about a medium to small size. This club is known in Chicago and I thought it would be a larger club. Then on top of it being smaller then I thought, it was pretty crowded. I was thinking "oh oh, wrong night. There were 3 stages, a big one in the middle and 2 smaller stages spaced apart to either side. At first before my eyes got used to the dark (it was not super dark, but I still had to get use to it) I did not see many dancers around. But then I realized a lot of them were sitting in between or next to guys all around the club. I would say there were 20 girls or more. As we made our way through the club looking for seats, we saw some empty seats up front pointing at the main stage (not at the main stage but close). We asked a waitress about the seats and she said we could seat there but they were VIP seats. We figured that must mean they would cost extra and did not ask anything else about them. We made our way to the back stage. Before I got there an attractive mixed race or Latina girl tried to point me toward one of the love seats that lined the walls of the club. I started heading that way but saw my friends take seats at the back stage so I went over and joined them. I would learn in a little while that this was a mistake (seating at the stage). The drinks (coke and water) was $1. This was a good price. The sound of okay and all 3 stages were occupied by dancers but the main stage seemed to get the most attention.
