stopped in for the second time...

stopped in for the second time in 25 years (if the joint hasn't been there that long it sure as hell looks like it)...there's simply no overwhelming draw here and it's in a remote spot for me...seedy remote little dives usually appeal because they have to try harder...but the 'talent' pool was appalling on my visit...fortunately i slipped in UTR and ducked the overpriced daytime cover...hate when that happens...dark as a cave which would only be a shame if the 'talent' were worth viewing...it wasn't...whole place seems like an anachronism which has outlasted it's usefulness...much like the battered pay phone in its foyer...hadn't seen one in years...spent three bucks on the same number of harridans...drank it quick and took the magic carpet ride fifteen minutes up 130 to the legendary playhouse where everyone is welcomed with open arms...and zippers.
