BDs used to be my favorite...

BDs used to be my favorite spot when I lived in Dallas 8 - 10 years ago. One could argue that much has changes (i.e. location, talent, play areas, restrictions, etc.) and you wouldn't be wrong. It is not the same, yet overall, in my opinion it is in fact, quite the same as it was 10 years ago. Sure there have been LE busts, the club cycles through periods of severe restrictions, yada yada yada. I would argue that the times have changed, not the overall vibe and mojo of the club.

Surprisingly, the same DJ from 10 years ago is still running the show. I get a chuckle every time I see him. He's a lifer - you don't find many of those.

Now, if you're comparing new BD to old BD, at any given time based on the shifting of political winds, you may have reason to gripe. But by and large, BDs is still by far the best club in Dallas and I still believe top 10 in the country.
