This place likes to think they...
This place likes to think they are more upscale than they really are. I've been twice in the evening, and one on a Sunday afternoon. The bouncers and dress code plaque would indicate that it's a nice place, but they seem to just like acting tough. The economy seems to be hitting them hard - I've seen them let people in with shorts and Red Sox caps. Inside, the bouncers make their presence very obvious, and spend most of their time staring you down judgementally. However, the bouncer when I went during the day was much more enthusiastic... he seemed thrilled to have any customers at all. The atmosphere is generally oppressive, and they have no tolerance for drunken rowdiness of any sort. There was no cover during the day but $20 at night is way too much for such a small place. There is only one main stage and just a few chairs along the perimeter. Alcohol is really expensive - get a bottled beer or something that you know can't be watered down. The entire club has very little lighting, and if a girl is wearing a dark outfit, she will easily blend in with the wall.
VIP is way too expensive, and although it is the closest you can get to touching the girls, that still only consists of her sitting next to you and resting her legs across your lap. The lap dances are very unenthusiastic and its as if there is a line on the carpet four feet away that she doesn't get any closer to. The girls, although some can be relatively attractive (less so in the daytime), have almost zero personality and stroll and strut like zombies on stage. There are some girls that are very talented with the pole, but the rest avoid it entirely.
Given the choice between here and the Glass Slipper next door, I would definitely choose the Glass Slipper - they have more personality and is actually fun to be there.
