I miss the original Mermaids. Rough old biker chicks, that couldn’t make it anywhere else, But oh what stories they could tell. This place was dark with a full bar, $5 groping lap dances and anything goes back room. But, alas they built a thruway right through it. This was a fun place to drink and get a standing HJ at the bar at the same time.

The newer location is a members only club. The cover charge is the membership. The girls are the same but the atmosphere and prices have gone up and ruined everything. The bar is in a separate room away from the stage. I’ve been back a couple of times but the other clubs in the area offer a much better venue.
