This place seems smaller than a few years back when it was called Pacers. That’s because they’ve added some private booths at one end of the room to use for private dances. At the other end is a covered patio where addicts can smoke their cigarettes. On Wednesday night at about 9:00 pm there were about seven or eight girls working on one stage. The quality was fairly good but a couple where overweight. The bartender was the best looking girl in the place. Too bad she wasn’t on the stage. Slim and buff (but) with fake boobs; still hot though.
It was slow; I’d say there were less than a dozen customers. I think San Diego clubs (all of them) have cut their own throats by allowing the dancers to demand a tip from every customer in the room. After they are on stage they go around the room holding their hand out or sticking their gartered leg up for the ‘required’ tip. It wouldn’t surprise me if they went in the men’s bathroom to check the toilet stalls to make sure they didn’t miss anyone. I suppose you can refuse but it would be uncomfortable. By the time you pay a $10 cover charge, $8 plus tip for your drink, and a minimum $1 tip every 5 or 6 minutes to the demanding dancers a visit to gentlemen’s club in San Diego can be an expensive proposition. I have never seen this tip begging go on in any other city. I didn’t get any private dances or see anyone else buying any either.
All in all I think you can do much better going to clubs north in Los Angeles or south in Tijuana.
