I dropped by around 11:30 p.m....

I dropped by around 11:30 p.m. and, after paying my $10.00 cover, had to run the gauntlet of waitresses before I could get into the club and let my eyes adjust the lighting so I could figure out where I wanted to sit instead of being herded by one of the waitresses. I found a table and sat down and just looked around for a few minutes expecting a waitress to come by soon. No such luck, most of them are standing at the front door forming the gauntlet for new arrivals. I guess I should have allowed one of the gauntlet waitresses to grab me after all, maybe my bad. A couple of want-a-dance drive-by dancers come by, but none of them are my type and I politely decline their company, but one of them does flag down a waitress for me. I order a Shiner Bock and five songs later it arrives for $5.75.

I see a dancer who is more my preferred body type: taller long haired brunette with generous T&A and a softer body type. I do the $1.00 dancer interview and it doesn’t go particularly well because of a lot of attitude by her instead of sensuality.

I sit back down and look around for a better candidate. A short, skinny, curly haired blond (500 miles from my preferred body type) comes to the table and I try to waive her off politely, but she is having none of it and persists in trying to draw me into conversation. It’s nothing personal against her, I just have preferences other than her body type and also against most want-a-dance drive-by dancers. I don’t think I need to go through the long version of this with her and just tell her I’m not interested. She gets bent out of shape and accuses me of being rude to her. I’ve had a tough day and don’t need her stripper drama, so I tell her I’m out of there and leave. On my way out I briefly look for a manager to express my frustrations, but don’t see one handy, so my $200 and I just walk out the door.
