First time visit for me. I'm not sure this place is going to make it. The club itself isn't too bad but the building has a dark, potholed parking lot, is next door to a truck stop and I saw several wandering drunks walking down the street directly in front of the club.

On the inside, the club is sparse but clean with enough televisions to watch sports, enough seating to be comfortable and enough isolated booths to enjoy relatively private dances. That said, most of the girls seemed a little plumb or a bit weathered.

Clubs right outside the Houston city limits can operate without pasties and allow smoking, which is of course why Joy's selected their location. St. James operates the same way closer to the airport but being positioned right off I-45 (St. James) will draw a far better crowd than being off 529 (Joy's).
