Had been hearing about TJ for a while and had the opportunity to sample the goods one evening. See my associated experiences at Peanuts and Beer, and Adelitas.

HK was the last of the 3 I visited. Walked about 50 yards from Adelitas. It was incredibly busy, packed with girls and customers. After walking around, up and down, was approached by an 8 and was escorted to a seat. She spoke no english and my limited spanish made for a very stilted encounter. Constant pressure to buy her drinks [$7 for a small beer, her choice], souvenirs, and flowers.

Despite the language barrier, I agreed to go upstairs for $60, plus $1 for her cover gown, and $12 for the room. The visit was enjoyable, but nothing special as the language barrier made it difficult.

If i go back, I'll look for a girl who speak at least a little english.
