I stopped into Skin this past weekend. Cover charge was $10 around 8PM. They've remodeled some since the last time I was there (early 2009), nothing real drastic, just updated it a bit, it looks good. Same old Scottsdale crowd with a good mix of douchebags and the requisite BET wannabe's at the stage (can you tell I'm not a fan of the crowd?). The dancers on this visit were ok, nobody took my breath away though, mostly in the 6-8 range. The dances are $10 at your table, one way contact, I've never inquired about the VIP area and have never been upsold on that area so I can't tell you what the price range is there. The music seemed at a much more reasonable level than previously (when I left with ringing ears) which was nice. Gripe: change in $2 dollar bills? Really? That's a real slimey way to extract money out of your customers?
