I was in the area and had never tried 2001 on a Wednesday night. After paying the door fee, and entered the club I was immediately hit up for dances by three dancers. This was even before I got to a seat. This spoils the whole experience for me. They probably don't realize that they might get more dances if they allow some time to get settled in before hitting everyone up. After being there for about 20 minutes, they did a dance special (3 for $20), and I accepted a dance from a cute dancer (Lisa or Leslie) I saw on stage. There were several things about the dance that I didn't like. The booth she chose, was right by the bouncer (high traffic and not very private). The second was that the dance was mostly air. She didn't do the usual upsell to the spaceship, I would not have gone even if she did offer a better dance. I think the weekends are better here.
