Haven't been to the "Downer" in...

Haven't been to the "Downer" in a while so I thought I would stop in on my way through town to business in New York. Paid my cover and went in. There have been no renovations or updating since my last visit (couple of years ago) and I would say that they should probably consider doing some work. As usual the waitress took for ever to get to my table and the return trip was even longer (even though I gave an almost $3 tip for the beer i ordered). The crew of girls was ok, but nothing to get to excited about. The grand days are gone. It is a pretty ordinary club now living on its reputation. I would not go out of my way to stop here again.
