OMG!! Now I know what the fuss is about. This club is nothing like I had expected -- the setup is more like those on "The Block" in Baltimore -- dingy, cramped bar setting with small stage in the middle; bartender between you and the stage. Clearly, the stage show is not why anyone goes there. The club is a lot smaller than I had expected based on the rave reviews -- it is probably less than 50' in length and maybe only 1000 sq ft in total for the open space. It is in no way a "Gentlemen's Club" it is a strip joint -- that is topless only and serves no alcohol. But the girls are gorgeous and the private dance setup is a hook-the-up (at least for my maiden voyage with Nya.) I totally feel you on Cheeks being 20 min away and offering actual sex for a similar price with comparable girls. That I am sure has contributed to the quality of service at Playhouse and hopefully does not have a significant impact when Cheeks is gone next month.
