I have read so much about Carl's I almost felt like I knew the place even before I finally went. The "Police" in black t-shirts outside are a definite distraction. I don't know what their deal is. Whenever I walk the streets of Stone Park the local minimum wage shaved head wannabee Barny Fifes with badges and guns and SUVs with flashing blue and red lights follow me like I am some kind of local attraction. Are the Stone Park police really so bored that a country hick from the rural cornfields of western Illinois are an attractuon worth that much interest? Get a life you Mayberry bald headed gay man loving wannabees. Jeesh. If I had the choice of being a cop in Stone Park or mopping up the peep booths in a gay video store I would be hard pressed to decide which would be better. Eenie Meenie Miney MO anyway , back to Carl's at least they don't close at 0200 like Bobby's and they had more and better girls. But none of them came up to me or asked me for a dance or if I wanted to buy a drink. I was totally invisible at Carl's. What a disappointment. Carl spent a lot of money on a facility and didn't hire the right help and the local popo don't help. I was warned that the gangs at Bobby's would be a problem. I was more concerned about the cops at Carl's than the gangs at Bolbby's.
