A recent visit to a couple...

A recent visit to a couple of BC strip clubs wasn't too encouraging. After striking out at Penthouse I headed over to the Paramount in new westminster. There is no alcohol at this club and it was $10 cover plus a 5.50 drink. Being set in an old theater is an interesting atmosphere but some of the building shows entirely too much wear and tear. The bathrooms are disgusting, both from lack of maintenance and toilet paper / paper towels everywhere. It definitely didn't look like they'd even attempted to keep up with the mess.

Girls seem to do 3-4 song sets so I only saw about 4 or five of the advertised 15 on stage. Of the four girls I remember seeing 3 where 6+ and one was probably about a 4 an overweight but she tried hard. I was only approached once for a dance and only saw about two private dances going on in the 45 minutes I was there.

Overall this club is probably great if you are a 18-20 and want to enjoy the stage with some friends and terrible otherwise.
