On the way south from Tampa...

On the way south from Tampa I decided to take a detour through Pinellas County and try a new place. Flipped a coin between Bottom's Up and Atlantis and wound up at Atlantis @6:15 p.m. Once I got used to the dark bar inside and unusual practice of having a guy shilling for tips in the bathroom on day shift (ah well, no cover), I settled in. Day shift decidedly mid-30s to mid-40s, with one or two late 20s mixed in. The best/youngest talent was clearly taken, nursing drinks with customers.

Dancers were friendly, two or three greeted me as an "old friend" -- mistaken identity but happily settled with a kiss and a promise to check back. One girl, just leaving for the night (a promising milfy blonde) just stopped to offer a kiss on the cheek as she left. Shift change must be about 7 because younger dancers trickled in. Thought about two fairly overt day shift dancers, Gina with a nice body but likely mid 40s and Rebecca, a little more cushion but mid-30s and decidedly more friendly. Gina hung at the bar and Rebecca went back with a previous customer.

After a couple of songs Rebecca got back, settled in my lap and we chatted -- then straddled me as we continued to talk. Gina checked in to say hi and noted that I'd met Rebecca. While I saw the stage talent improve, I figured Rebecca was fun company and took her back.
