My wife and I visited the Gold Nugget along with another couple on 04/25/09. Cover charge was $10.00 each, not $5.00 like it says on the profile. Ladies did not get in free. There was a good crowd, but we didn't have any trouble finding a small table near the main stage. The waitresses were attentive. Bottled beer was $2.50. Smoking was permitted. Everyone, dancers included, seemed to be having a good time. The DJ was very cool. He even played a couple of songs that my friend's wife wanted to hear. He didn't talk too much and the volume was just right. The place was fairly clean. They did have the obligatory annoying bathroom attendant, which I absolutely despise. One thing I thought was weird is that they did not have seats up around the stages. You actually had to walk up to the stage and just sort of stand there to tip the dancers. Maybe that's common, but I'd never seen it before.

I thought most of the girls ranked about a 7. My wife thought most were about a 5, so there you have my 6 Dancer Rating. There were about 20 dancers who rotated around the various stages. There were 6 girls dancing at any one time. Every hour they would all come out wearing a club t-shirt and carrying a test tube shooter. For $30 you got the t-shirt, the shooter, and a lap dance. I thought it was a pretty good deal. The girls weren't pushy. They didn't have to be. They had plenty of guys willing to shell out the cash. Most of the girls were white and pretty good looking. There were 2 or 3 that weren't really into being there, but the enthusiasm of the others made up for them. Most were good dancers, with a couple being truly exceptional. One girl's pole work was unbelievable. She had to have been a gymnast or something. The Gold Nugget Lounge is a topless only club with the girls wearing thongs or g-strings down below.

Overall, everyone in our group had a really good time. I'm sure we'll go back the next time we're in PC.
