As clubs in Richmond go, this one is as close to a "Gentleman's Club" as you will find (its sister club on the Southside is roughly in the same league, though the clientele tend to be a little more downscale). The club itself consists of three areas (apart from the entry hall where you pay the cover). The main room has a bar at the far end, a stage with three dance areas and ring side seating, with tables surrounding and booths along one wall. Mirrors on one of the long walls give an illusion of additional space. Most nights there is a buffet (included in the cover) next to the bar. The food is of middling quality (menu items are also available and tend to be somewhat better). A private dance room is on the opposite side of the entrance hall and has couch booths along its walls. An area of this room has curtains to create a VIP area. Private dances are with clothing on, no contact by the customer (contact by the dancer varies according t0 the entertainer) and are $20 with 2-4-1's offered most nights about once an hour. The VIP area is timed with a 10-minute minimum starting at $150; sometimes you can get a 2-4-1 in the VIP area for $60. In the VIP the dancers are down to thong and pasties and contact is allowed (YMMV according to the entertainer). Upstairs is the "Champaign room" which is open only some nights and can be booked for bachelor parties, etc.
The dancers on the whole are good lookers . . . lots of implants, though (which happens not to be my thing). In recent years I've noted a marked increase in the number of dancers with extensive tattoos (again, not my thing). The dancers for the most part have better than average stage skills.
The waitresses are one major drawback. There are usually only two on duty; they tend to roam, rather than have stations, and are usually pretty slack in their duties. Keep in mind that this is the opinion of someone who HATES being asked every five minutes if I need another beer, etc. So when I say "slack" I mean that more than half the time I wind up having to go to the bar to get my own drink. No big deal, I realize, but if your going to have wait staff, it would be nice if they did their job.
