Having spent the majority of my adult life in the south (Georgia, Texas), I'm used to a certain type of strip club. For the DC area, Showcase comes close enough. Its small but the girls are nice and you can get a real lapdance.

I went on a Tuesday night around 11 and paid the $20 cover. There were about 10 girls there, 6's to 8's. The place is not very large at all, which is the first thing you'll notice if you've been to one of the more famous strip joints in Vegas, Dallas, etc. There's one stage with space for two dancers and a decent sized big screen TV. Next to the stage there's a nook (and I mean a nook, not even a full section) with regular table chairs for lapdances. When it gets busy, you basically have to stand in line with your dancer, waiting for two chairs to open up. This also means that when its busy and you're getting a dance, a bunch of people are watching you waiting for you to get up so they can sit. That's pretty damn weird. Rules are no touching of the juicebox or the breasts. The girls can do what they want though.

I took a sit when I got in, and noticed the girls. A few walked around and spoke to customers and the rest huddled at the juice bar. I heard later there was a larger crowd earlier and it was dying down for the night, so I guess everyone was taking a break. One of the better looking ones spoke to me as I went to buy some water and we hit it off. Before you go, understand there's a regular $20 lapdance and a $30 topless dance, but no full nudity (or liquor). There's also a very small VIP section with 2 couches that's $20 to get in and you have to get the topless dances once you're back there. Apparently there's a camera in VIP, so don't expect anything too exciting.

All in all I had a good time, and I'll go back if I'm in the mood for a dance, but I'll save the majority of my $ for the next trip to Atlanta or Houston.
