Gave Christie's another try. Saturday evening, the club wasn't very crowded. I left around 9, so maybe it picks up later. The lighting is terrible, I could barely see the dancer on stage. Not many dancers come out between sets, and most of the ones who do sit for a long time at one table rather than moving around. So if you want more than a quick beer (no, scratch that, it's BYOB). On second thought, I can't think of any reason to come here for a short time. You need to budget at least an hour to make it worth the cover, but not more than two because you'll too bored by then.

So I sit for a while with no one but the old, ugly, unpleasant, and creepy waitress coming by. Then a girl asks to sit down and asks if I mind her smoking. Rule of thumb: if a guy isn't smoking, don't sit with him if you want to. So she leaves. A little later they do the thing where all the dancers come down off the stage for a 2-4-1, and I get the same girl who hit me up before. Not bad, not particularly good, I only get the 2-4-1 then stop. Later on I get approached by a better looking dancer, get one dance, then try downstairs for a half hour. I'm figuring I'm about ready to leave anyway, and even with a VIP I'm only going to spend about half the money I've budgeted (do the owners know how much money they're leaving on table operating this place?). I get one of the better dances I've had in Tennessee, which of course isn't saying much: more attention and more contact, though nothing faintly sexual, but that's OK. Dancer has silicon on her nipples rather than keeping her top on as the couch dances upstairs, strictly one-way contact. Nice experience, forgetable. This happened two weeks ago and I'm struggling to remember the good details, maybe because there weren't a lot. Oh, well.
