Nice place, nicely furnished and outfitted, and I’ll return the next time I’m in the area. It’s sort of a smaller version of Vixens (owned by the same people), without the ear-splitting music and the thugs showing up later in the evening. So far, it’s attracting an older crowd, but it is still relatively new, and doesn’t seem to have discovered its identity yet.

Had an evening to kill in Martinsburg and planned to make another visit to Vixens, but decided to give Taboo a try instead. (A note about directions: Google shows Taboo well off Rt. 9. It’s actually right on Rt. 9, visible as you drive by. They were giving out flyers for a Girls Gone Wild appearance at the club on 30 July, with the same lousy Google map directions printed on them. You would think they would know where they are located. Still some management kinks to work out.)

Parking lot is paved in front, gravel in back. Open layout, with the main stage front-left as you walk in, smaller stage to the left of the main one. Bar to the right, with the bathrooms to the left of the bar. There are various rooms and alcoves on the periphery of the main stage area: a couple of small lap dance areas with curtains, a Champagne Room, and a couple of areas marked VIP with small stages and poles surrounded by couches, but still in sight of the main stage. I was told you can rent the VIP areas for private parties.
