4 Play continues to have amoung...

4 Play continues to have amoung the most attractive dancers in the L.A. area, delivered in an atmosphere more upscale. I hesitate to call it a full upscale club for 2 reasons: Lack of full menu, and has gimmickry ( amateur dance contest, 2fer, 4 for 3, etc.). The appetizers are OK, but don't come here expecting a steak & lobster dinner. It's mainly apetizers, salad, soup, & a pasta dish. Also, a non-alcohol club. Non alcoholic drink prices were recently jacked up from $6.50 to $7.00. The 2fer (or 4 for 3, 6 for 5) "cattle call" isn't that frequent, but still seems "McClubish". Enough nitpicking, on to important elements.................

DANCER CREW: This composite review of recent Thu. and Fri. night visits: Dancers were mostly 7-9, with a few 6's, and an odd 5. Estimating 15-18 dancers on Thu. night, and 20-24 on Fri. night. Dancers were mostly Cauc., the rest Hispanic with occasional Asian. Silicon prevails, as does no tatoo, or tatoo lite. Most dancers would chat a little during lapdance pitch, but would take a "no or later" with grace.

STAGES/LAPS: Stage sets start out with 2 songs, but then go to single songs later in the evening. For the most part, stageside interaction is a tease. I find it more worthwhile to gauge/meet talent by the bar, or sitting at a table. This is not an "extras" kind of place, but reasonable contact levels can occur in back. Price structure is $25 downstairs (plus minimum 3 dance area in back of stage), and $30 couch, $40 bed upstairs area. Selective nudity can occur there, though no contact when it does. I rarely go upstairs as it doesn't offer that much more plus the 5 song minimum.
