Although I live in Vancouver I have only been to Brandis a few times. First off it is kind of shitty that the only way up and down is through an elevator. Secondly, the boucers at the door may be rude at times and may not let you in unless you grease them. once you are up the elevator, another bouncer is there along with the cashier. Cover was only 15 dollars (I think that has come down from before).

After paying cover and walking in, the environment just looked like a normal bar with a stage in the middle. Don't get me wrong, it looked nice but everyone was just sitting down talking to friends and enjoying the dancer on stage. In addition, there are many females that were their too. It was hard to determine which girls worked there or not, which made it tough to approach a girl and ask for a dance. (Just in case they don't work there). I was not used to asking or waiting long for girls as I am used to the agressiveness of strippers from my frequent trips to vegas. Regular Lap dances were 40 or 50 (I don't remember). Unlike vegas, this is not done in plain view of everyone as you are taken to another area. For the price, it is not worth it when comparing to 20 in vegas. Overall the girls were really good looking but there were only 7-8 girls working. The dances compared to vegas was not as good but I guess its ok when comparing to other clubs in vancouver. I think most people go there more to drink and watch the girls dance on stage. Overall with cover only being 15, It ok to go and check it out, nothing to lose really. Oh yeah, on final note. The drinks seemed quite weak, maybe more worth it to drink beers than hi-balls.
