The best place to start is...
The best place to start is at the beginning with an overview of the club. It hasn't changed much over the last year or so. There is valet parking out front, a parking lot with security cameras right next to it, and just across the street on Lamar is overflow parking, which seems to be less safe.
Once you walk in, there is the area where you pay cover, an atm machine, to the right is the restroom, and to the left is a line of waitresses waiting to take you to your table. Once inside you will see the main stage to the right, it's in the "VIP" section. It is the least VIP of all the VIP sections in town. It's just a few steps up and not much privacy at all. There are booths and tables to the right and left of the main stage. The DJ booth is to the right of the main stage. There are two bars in the place, one is to the left as you walk in, and one is at the back. There are also two stages and additional tables and booths in this area. I wish the Rose would invest in a real VIP area that isn't as secluded as other places like Palazio or Perfect 10, but not as wide open as it is now. Don't even bother with the food, it's deep fried crap. It would also be great to have more than one restroom so you dont have to walk across the entire club, squeezing through tables along the way. VIP should be laid out in a way that dancers giving dances in nearby tables dont bump into you. Sugars does this right, as does Palazio and Perfect 10.
The good news is that Mike Persinger and DK are both working together again. This is a great owner/manager combo in town. They will attract better talent which will also bring in better clients. Hopefully they also make improvements to VIP and a more convenient restroom for VIP.
