I made my long overdue first visit to Cheeks after hearing much about it for years. It's a shame it will not be around much longer in it's current form, but that's probably a good thing for me from a financial standpoint. I make it to the Playhouse once every month or two, and I would go broke if I started frequenting Cheeks also. This place was fairly busy for a Wednesday night, but far from packed. There was a decent selection of dancers, and most were at least average with a handful of real stunners. The dollar parade was bothersome but not overwhelming. I noticed that the better looking dancers did not really circulate much. They all seemed to be sitting at the bar for long periods of time with what I assumed to be regulars. My advice is if you see a dancer you really like, approach her the first time you see her alone. If you wait for her to come to you, you might be waiting all night. This is what I did with Kelly, and I made a wise choice. She got right down to business in the tent and sent me home happy. I will definitely be paying another visit to Cheeks before it's too late.
