I decided to give this place...

I decided to give this place a try despite all the middling reviews below, and...well, not much has changed. The decor is weird, lots of stained glass and wood everywhere--obviously just a standard neighborhood hangout in a previous life. It still is a locals' place for the most part, there were tons of guys just hanging out, playing pool etc. and quite a few female patrons as well.

The dancers are OK. Mostly in the 5 to 7 range, a few higher, a few lower. They do hang out with the regulars quite a bit, as others mentioned, but I did manage to get two lap dances from two different girls--one very good, the other rather clumsy and awkward. On the whole they seem a bit inexperienced, which may account for both not wanting to hang out and the aforementioned awkwardness. (Hint: there are a few girls who will give a little 'preview' private show at the stage--they're the ones to try and get ahold of.) If you really want a dance from a girl the best way is to just ask her point blank at the stage, wait for her to come around and you may wait all night. The system of getting a ticket for your dance is also kind of awkward too, and unnecessary given that similar-style clubs in the Pittsburgh area (Silky's, Pretty Kitty) use a much less complicated system for keeping track.

There's not really a whole hell of a lot else to do in McKeesport on a Saturday night, so if you just want to hang out, drink a beer, and not be bothered by high-pressure hustle, then this place might be worth the $5 cover. The flip side, of course, is that you may find yourself frustrated if you want any more than that.
