I happened to be in Ybor...

I happened to be in Ybor for business and my meeting had run short -- I was not hungry, but I was quite bored. Although it was quite early (around 1 or 2pm) I decided to drop by Ybor Strip to see what was going on. I knew fully well that it was a Wednesday afternoon and there would not be much going on.

When I got there, I realized that despite their being quite a few cars in the parking lot... I was the only patron there. While this is no problem, it always makes me feel a little ashamed to be there.

I sat down and the girls realized that it was time to work; the DJ started up the music and a girl got onto the stage. Shortly after getting my drink, I young woman came and sat next to me. Very nice girl and a great conversationalist. She wasn't my type, though, so I chatted with her but made it very clear by directing my attention to the stage that she was not going to get a dance out of me.
