Friday night and free time, what should a PL do? Instead of hitting up my favorites, I decided to mix things up a bit and visit this place. I previously visited on a daytime shift, but you can't really judge a club by day.

Upon walking in, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of ladies on display. Of course, it does take a while before your eyes adjust, since your senses are immediately blinded by darkness or bombarded with bad, raucous stage lighting. Attention all strip clubs: kill the fuckin flashing lights already!

Of the first coupla of girls who approached me, with their backs to the stage, all I saw was silhouette. Now, if you're drunk, desperate, or indiscriminate, it probably doesn't matter. Me, on the other hand, I'm a connoisseur - I wanna appreciate (or not) every fine face, bending curve, and lush skin tone of these dancers. But there is club lighting that artfully enhances (see 4Play), or intentionally veils -- and all Rhino's fall into the latter category. Seriously, Rhino, why do all your clubs have such crappy lighting? What are you trying to hide?
