This is a couples-oriented review of the Thunder Road strip club, a legendary couples-friendly venue (when called Club 64 East) that lost its couples business a few years ago due to excessive regulatory interference.

We went to Thunder Road - Club 64 East at 8pm Sat July 11, 2009, to see if they had reinstated their couples-friendly atmosphere. The answer is: They want to rebuild their couples business, says the female owner, but very few couples are visiting yet. We left after an hour, without seeing any other couples. Couples are likely to be lonely there until the business builds back up. The owner did not discuss what plans she has to build the couples business back up.

The former Club 64 used to be a great place for couples, with weekend adult party games, and a very friendly atmosphere for lifestylers. From my talk with the owner, it appears that the new Thunder Road cannot now be as free-wheeling for couples as the old club 64, kwim, although it will be as free-wheeling as reasonably possible under the circumstances.
