I just went to the Topeka...

I just went to the Topeka Sports Cabaret for the first time this evening. I was looking for someplace to ride my motorcycle and this club is about an hour from where I live. I got there about 7 pm on the Fourth of July, so maybe I need to cut them a little slack. There were three waitresses and only TWO dancers in the club when I got there. I ordered a steak dinner (it was good) and stayed for about an hour and a half. The only thing that made the trip worthwhile (other than a nice night to ride) was the waitress who waited on me. When I mentioned to her my disappointment at the number and quality of dancers she proceeded to get up on stage and take it all off. Watching her dance for three songs was very enjoyable. When I asked her about a lap dance i was disappointed when she said she would have to charge $40 since she was an employee of the owner. She told me the cost with the dancers was only $10 but based on the lack of quality I decided to call it a night. Overall, it was a nice, big, clean club. Maybe I will give them another try when it is not a holiday.
