The high mileage days at TNT...

The high mileage days at TNT may be over - at least for a while. Last Saturday night, LE stopped by for a look/see. Caught a couple of dancers standing too close to the customer, and issued a citation(s). Owner wasn't happy about it at all. Ordered the lights turned-up all the way in VIP....EVEN DURING THE DAY SHIFT!!!

They're running an ad on craigslist looking for a 40yo+ house mom who's responsibilities include making sure that the girls abide by city ordinance in the conduct of their dances, and counting dances. This probably means she'll be stationed in the VIP like the big guy is on weekend nights. Word is that this house mom position will be on duty all shifts, which will require at least 2 persons to cover the entire week. Probably not something that will last for a long time, since it adds a whole new layer of supervision and related financial burden ($10/hr plus tips) for a club whose customer count is fairly weak already. New manager had proposed more 2-for-1 periods scattered throughout the week as an incentive to draw patrons. Good plan, but bring your library book with you if you plan to go to VIP - plenty of light to read by up there!

In any case, likely to see some very unwelcome changes at this place for a while. I would guess that things will be getting back to normal during the day in 2 months. Probably new changes will apply to night for a longer time - maybe permanent.
