Did a double Brass visit this past weekend (Saturday afternoon and Monday afternoon.) Still good grub, comfortable swivel chairs, full songs, amazingly strong & loud hand dryers in the bathroom. Tried out new lap area (where the pool table used to be), which consists of three padded benches in parallel to one another. Old lap area is closed off with construction tape.

Dances during the day are $10. Cash register sits permanently at the front of new lap area (but during the say is off with no employee stationed there - my guess is at night there's a bouncer who's presence at least (should) make the (former?) trek to the bartender to get a VIP room token now obselete.

Remarkable development: upon my arrival Saturday, there were no girls on the floor except those dancing on the stage. So, them globbing onto regulars was mysteriously absent. Don't know what they were doing (eating? chewing the rag?), but there must've been about 15 holed up in the dressing room. Then I noticed the crowd was about 7 guys in their late 50s, early 60s scattered about. The fish must not have been biting.
