As long as you're not expecting...

As long as you're not expecting the Electric Blue to be a place that would fit right in on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, you should be happy you visited. The entrance is wackily gaudy and the LD room is as described, a bit exposed, but, hey, it's dark. Otherwise, it's a great club. Never pushy, great selection of dancers, lots of 7s and 8s – many Brazilian. They are a favorite of mine. You can usually count on a self-assured, unpretentious sensuality that can get fairly intoxicating.

Quite a variety of dancers. Almost always a few that will get your attention. And many of the dancers will provide you a level of attention you may not be used to receiving elsewhere in the state – it can be very gratifying. Drinks are reasonable, and the bartenders and waitresses don’t hound you if you’re not ready for another. The large room with a central bar, large stage and convivial atmosphere are conducive to friendly wandering about.
