I swung into Palazio on the...

I swung into Palazio on the way home tonight and paid a $10 cover charge to get in after parking in the free parking on the right (there's valet parking available). I bought a soda (had a beer earlier and wanted to wait the buzz off) for $4.75 and took a seat and watched the girls dance. I was a bit bored but then a dancer came up and conversed for 20 seconds before asking if I wanted to play. I declined (kind of a horse face - that's not really fair, in real life I'd probably find her attractive, but if I'm spending money I want her to be very pretty at the least) and she moved on. A couple minutes later a sweetheart named Kara came by and talked to me. I invited her to sit and bought her a drink (don't remember what she had but it was $8.50). We chatted about movies, books, working at the club, and other random subjects. She was a great conversationalist. I was about to ask for a dance when she asked if I'd like one. We moved to a quieter portion of the club and she gave me a couple great dances followed by some more conversation and a final dance before I had to go.

I'm definitely going to go back sometime. Waiting for the right girl is key.
