I wasn't at all impressed with...

I wasn't at all impressed with this place, even though there were some realy nice looking girls there. Arrived about 10PM to find that the weirdness with IDs - ringing the buzzer, passing your ID through the little slot, waiting to find out if you ever see it again - is true. And with an out-of-state license, I got charged $10, double the norm. Walking in, there is a small stage (unused on my visit) near the entrance, bar to the left, and a bigger stage in a two-story area past the bar. Bathrooms opposite the the bar. As I usually do, I grabbed a beer ($4) at the bar and spent a few minutes looking around. Maybe a dozen customers in the hour or so I was there, most of whom appeared to be regulars. About five or six girls, mostly 6-8, and I didn't see a fake breast in the mix. If you can't tolerate smoke, which normally doesn't bother me at all, this isn't the place for you. There was a gentleman at the stage smoking a cigar, and the air was thick with it, even though the back door by the stage was open and they have industrial-sized fans blowing down on the stage.

Moved to the stage and watched some lovely nude women, which were sort of hard to see as the stage lighting is generaly dark and somehow washes out details. All were good on stage, some made good use of the pole, but one girl, with a gorgeous body and maybe a 6 face, impressed me and I tipped her pretty heavily, so she came and sat down beside me after her set. She seemed bored and I should have known better when he asked me to buy her a drink almost as soon as she sat down: $12 for what I'm fairly sure was soda. Claiming that she was cold, she went and put on a sweater(!), totally hiding her body, and then pretty much brushed aside my attempts at conversation - not that conversation was easy, given the excessively loud music - with one-word answers to my questions and generally ignored me. After a few minutes of this, she asked me for a private dance, which I understandably declined, even though they were running a 3-for-$35 special that night. After that experience, I didn't try to hook up with anyone else, as the other girls were engaged with regulars.

In addition, the furniture sucks: ratty, torn upholstry and some of the most uncomfortable chairs I've ever put my butt into. This seems strange, as the men's room had been recently remodeled, with new tile, fixtures, etc. The owner needs to invest some more money, but probably knows he has the only game in town.
