If you're staying at the Crowne...

If you're staying at the Crowne or Sheraton in El Centro Obsession will cost you about a $10 cab ride. I last visited Obsession in December of 2008. There was a 100 peso cover but as you'll read here it's worth it.

There is an impressive security presence in the club. The club is very modern with up-to-date music and very lively girls. The girls at Obsession seemed to be a little more laid back as far as "drink hustling" goes and dance with a little more spunk than in some of the other clubs. Like the other clubs in Monterrey you need to be careful with the credit card...those girl drinks add up fast and they'll charge a 10-15% fee depending on what type of card you use!!! Several girls speak English well...most I've encountered speak some. The ones who don't speak any will most likely avoid you if you look like a gringo...but if you let them know you speak some Spanish "assuming you do", they seem to like the change from always servicing the locals!!!

The VIP rooms are better kept than others I've visited in Monterrey clubs. Pretty much anything goes in the VIP rooms but be prepared to pay for it!!! A "really good time" will end up costing you around $300-$400 including tip.

Overall I would rate this club as one of the best in Monterrey.
