I come here when I'm not in the mood for the wall-to-wall, rock-concert-like mob scene over at the Rhino. Here, you have quite a bit more space. I had no problem telling them "I'm a local" at the door (even though I'm not anymore), and they don't even check for a local ID, they just wave you in without a cover. The worst part about the club is the 3-for-$100 private section, which I usually like to spring for in most clubs, but here, they force a 2-drink, $30 minimum bar tab, even if you don't want any drinks at that time. So you end up having to pay 30 bucks for 2 bottled waters. Sheeesh! The dancers also like to tip the bouncers here, so they'll ask you for an extra $20 at the end.
